Story Of Pencil & Eraser

Pencil: I'm sorry

Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.

Pencil: I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.

Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do someth......ing wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)

I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on).

Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.

"All my life, I've been the pencil.. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day.

For I know that one day, all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have..."

Rewind, Review

From worm to cocoon to butterfly, looking back & back tracking, I see how much my growth & I learned what elder people always say: time flies. Well, as for me, there're ups & there're also downs. I must say I've yet to see the larger picture. Whether is trade/treat, thoughts/tricks, trait & truth, I've gained a lot of valuable lessons in life. Thank God & everyone around me who help put together who I'm today. I'll work hard.

When am I getting the last piece to complete the picture?

Life Itself Is A Quote

"You Learn.

You Learn

After a while you learn the subtle difference
Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning
And company doesn't mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
And presents aren't promises,

And you begin to accept your defeats
With your head up and your eyes open
With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child,

And you learn to build all your roads on today
Because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.

After a while you learn...
That even sunshine burns if you get too much.

So you plant your garden and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure...

That you really are strong

And you really do have worth...

And you learn and learn...

With every good-bye you learn."

Life Buoy

"Some learn to perform, some born to perform." I totally agree.
"You've to learn the smart way & work hard not blindly." I totally agree.
"Drop the egoistic attitude & pick up every bits of life lesson humbly." I totally agree.
Now, take a deep breath in, swallow them & learn them by heart.

Shady Shadow

When you're swinging, I'm there to push you higher up;
When you're singing, I be your cheering audience;
When you're dancing, I'll be your partner;
When it's raining, I be your companion;
When you're pissed, I'm there for you;
When you're down, I tickle you to get back up;
When you're going to school, I carry your bag;
When you blushed, I stand behind you;
When you excel, I support you;
When you're in love, I feel a share of your happiness & sweetness.
When you laugh, I'm glad for you;
When you're on stage, I'm your number one fan;
When you're lonely, I stand by your side;
When you cry, I collect your tears;
Whenever & wherever, I'm there with you;
For I'm your shadow.
